AI chips are becoming incredibly fast, but moving data between them is increasingly difficult. Silicon photonics could bring optical communication directly beside processors, using photons to build faster and more energy-efficient AI systems.
Your body is constantly emitting tiny amounts of visible light. Discover where this ultraweak glow comes from, why it changes during the day, and what it may reveal about metabolism and oxidative processes.
Your brain never sees the world directly—it reconstructs it from sensory clues. Discover how prediction, expectation, and surprise may shape the reality you experience.
